OMPT-DVMT®
Orthopedic Manipulative Physical Therapy (OMPT) is a specialization within physiotherapy for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. I completed this specialization by the German Association for Manual Therapy (DVMT e.V.) according to the Maitland Concept®.
The OMPT is a patient-centered and individual therapy considering behavior as well as social and working conditions. I develop a holistic, bio-psychosocial perspective on your complaints through targeted anamnesis and functional analyzes. We, you and me, dicuss intesively and create together an individual solution for you that considers your personality, your behavior and your living conditions. In addition, the therapy is underpinned by highly topical scientific findings. Only in this way an effective treatment approach can be fully exploited and symptoms eliminated in the long-term.
Education
The education of Orthopedic Manipulative Physiocal Therapy (OMPT) is carried out according to the standards of the International Federation of Orthopedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT). The curricula are continuously developed and evaluated and are subject to the high quality requirements of IFOMPT. This keeps the education always current and complies with internationally recognized standards.
The OMPT therapist is committed to the principle of lifelong learning and has accordingly provide evidence of advanced training, publications and lecturing activities.
